Great beer garden service and good German cuisine, especially the tartare 👍

The food and service is very good! We were always very happy to eat there. Unfortunately, no distance or hygiene regulations are adhered to with regard to the current corona crisis. The staff did not wear face masks, there were no gaps between the tables, there were cloth blankets on the tables and our contact details were only taken after we pointed this out. That is more than negligent, as well as showing lack of solidarity towards other restaurateurs! Unfortunately we won't be back! Hello dear Linde team, We were there again before your renovation, because we wanted to give you another chance and unfortunately it was the same. The boss's daughter only wears the mask under her nose, there were no notes again and the boss still comes out of the kitchen and sometimes serves the food personally and has a chat with regular customers, actually quite nice but WITHOUT a MASK again! The tables were not moved apart either ... Actually, we wanted to and should inform the public order office, but you didn't deserve that. Nevertheless, we would ask you to implement the measures consistently and without exception, because it is simply not fair to the restaurateurs who stick to everything. If there is a lockdown because of restaurateurs like you, everyone has to shut up. So be fair, you're in the same boat. We won't be back, a shame, because the food was always very, very good!

We regularly come to the linden tree in Neu-Anspach. The food is super good! Nowhere else in terms of quality. The service is always friendly and tries to do everything to make guests feel good. The boss regularly comes to the guest rooms or the beer garden and inquires about the condition of his guests. Unfortunately at the moment - but that's okay. I cannot understand the recession due to non-compliance with hygiene regulations. Everything is observed and disinfectants are everywhere. We ourselves saw how tables and menus are disinfected. Last Friday, I admired the service staff that, despite the warmth, they only ventilated their mouthguard behind the counter. Slips of paper are at the table or at the entrance. All together: top and always worth a visit !!!!

Were eating last week for the first time after the lock-down. Very tasty dishes! The Cordon Bleu zur Linde is especially recommended! Variety in German cuisine! The service was also very friendly, but we felt a bit tired because it was very stressed! It looked like it looked after the whole beer garden alone! Therefore only the four stars!

The best schnitzel. Mr. Kilb is a master of his field. In this inn you can taste the taste of meat in the schnitzel, the potatoes themselves in the fried potatoes, which is no longer a matter of course these days. On days when you fancy hearty, Hessian cuisine, you are in good hands here. The salad is also highly recommended. It has a light and very pleasant vinaigrette. 5 stars in total. The changeover to the pick-up service is also very good. During these times you can come to pick up the food. In terms of taste, it is in no way inferior to the food consumed in the restaurant and it also stays warm over the trip without problems. A very good alternative and always freshly prepared. The house fried potatoes are particularly recommended. The best schnitzel restaurant in the area.

Supper

My wife's schnitzel was in the pan too long and seared very dark. The fries were too salty, the complaint brought no improvement, also too salty. My Rösti come from a ready-to-use frozen pack and tasted that way. You don't go to a restaurant for that. The waitress gets 5 € too much and only issues it after complaining. No, not a good kitchen and not a good price / performance ratio.

Top Steak

There is still room for improvement! We were with 4 people (the first time since the tenant change) in the crown and unfortunately can only confirm the positive ratings to a very limited extent. We had ordered 4 soups and 4 main dishes. The salad had to be ordered separately for the main dishes (no steak). (I think I read that the salad is supposed to only be used with steaks must be ordered, and with the other main dishes as in our case, schnitzel would be included) After a long wait, the salad (unfortunately it was at room temperature) was served before the soup. The main dishes (3 veal schnitzel and a pork schnitzel with various side dishes) were served and we had to find out that were not 3 but only 2 veal cutlets. The two pork cutlets were good and the two veal cutlets were of very different quality. One was fine, the other was tough and tough. Also that the portions would be larger compared to the previous tenant we could not find. We expected more.

We weren't so happy today. The waitress was quick, but we didn't feel welcome, dispatched. Half of the Rasnici skewer was made of fat. The salad was fresh, but the dressing didn't taste good. We were already more satisfied.

Very nice service, really delicious food for a reasonable price. The chef (or landlord) came to the tables and asked if everything was right .. Nice gesture! In my opinion, the linden tree is highly recommended, I will definitely come back soon.

Food despite new tenant still very good. Portions are larger (in my view, almost too big for normal hunger). However, the card is a bit limited (very schnitzellastig) and the prices have tightened. Allow about 5-10 € more per person than before. For good quality! Personally, I think it's a shame that the side salad now costs extra.

Very nice guest house in the heart of the village with a beautiful courtyard that serves as a beer garden. Cozy and nice. A really Hessian menu with great dishes for the small and big hungry. Service and hospitality very friendly and good. The food was really delicious and the Schnitzel with the fried potatoes made great. Will come back and try more delicacies. Great inn!

Was here for a wedding and the food was fantastic. The staff was lovely. The building and Biergarten were beautiful. Definitely will come back again to explore the full menu.
